Last week, when we lifted the big red chalk stone in house 52, we struck gold! Two finger rings and a solidus (a Roman coin). The solidus is minted for emperor Valentinianus III who reigned between 425-455 A.D. A similar coin from the same emperor was found during the excavation of 2014.
